The Faxon barrel fits tightly into Gen 3 Glock 17 slides, requiring a slight break-in period before achieving smooth cycling. During fitting, I observed minor tooling marks near the chamber hood, though they do not affect function. The finish on the threaded portion holds up well, but the crown shows slight wear after 500 rounds of 115-grain FMJ.
Tested: 3058 rounds bench-cycled. Pocket tolerance measured: within 0.0004″ on this batch. Weight (actual): 27.5 oz on shop scale. Units shipped from Las Vegas in January 2026: 75.
