Fitted this to a Gen 3 frame with an older recoil spring assembly, noticed the rear sight dovetail cut slightly tighter than OEM—had to freeze the sight for 10 minutes before tapping it in. The RMR mounting surface is clean, no burrs, but the forward lugs required a light pass with a diamond file on one customer’s optic to sit flush. Finish wears evenly, shows a faint machining mark under the front serrations if held at an angle to light, nothing that affects function.
Tested: 5104 rounds bench-cycled. Pocket tolerance measured: within 0.0004″ on this batch. Weight (actual): 32 oz on shop scale. Units shipped from Las Vegas in May 2026: 88.
